So beautiful

Jesus, please untie the knots in my mind, in my heart and in my love. Remove the-HAVE-NOTS-the-CAN-NOTS-the-DO-NOTS-knot that are in my kind. Erase the WILL NOTS, MAY NOTS and MIGHT NOTS that occupy space in my mind. Release me from the COULD NOTS, WOULD NOTS and the SHOULD NOTS that hinder, obstruct and take away you in my life.

But beyond that and deeper than that, Lord, remove from every area of my being: my mind, heart and life all of the AM NOTS that I have allowed to manifest; that hinder me, hold me hostage and bind me. Especially the thought that I AM not good enough. Thank you that I am enough to you - let that truth resonate within me today and everyday. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Get Outta Your Mind! In these two lectures Amitji will analyze the devastating nature of an ungoverned mind and offer solutions of developing the intellect. Learn how to live a more peaceful, happy and connected life. ~~

So amazing helpful and practical. Just a few simple takeaways: : :

-read less. Think more.

-we are infested with desires and we must get rid of them.

-do not get attached. Attachment is mental bondage.

-we are all on the spectrum between sane and insane. Those who are more sane are those who operate out of intellect, not impulse.

-perfection in the present moment will lead to success in the future. Perfection in the present is success in itself.

-read The Fall of the Human Intellect.

-do an assessment at my school for what it is like and what students need.

Make Up Your Mind to Go with the Flow

If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place.” ~Lao Tzu

Of course we all know the power of positive thought, the law of attraction, and manifesting.

But for many of us, our thoughts often don’t serve us, yet we still think them. Better not to think at all!

When we think negatively about our circumstances or ourselves—when we dwell on our past or create angst trying to control our future—when we simply over-think our lives, we effectively stop the universal flow (or stop it from moving freely through our lives and thoughts).

And going with the universal flow is the key to your life falling into place.

Thinking “correctly” means aligning our thoughts with the universe—actually using our smarts to go with the flow, rather than being swept along in a flood stream of thoughts, in the maelstrom of our minds.

“Stop thinking and end your problems.”

Correcting our minds means stopping them from trying to control our lives, because they never will. They’ll only control the misery we manufacture for ourselves out of the pain we’ll inevitably experience.

Much of the suffering is all in our heads.

We need to “correct” our minds so that we can use them for thoughtful reflection rather than anxious rumination, so that we can plan and then act without seeking to control everything; so that we can find clarity rather than stress in whatever situation we find ourselves in; and so we can let the perfect wisdom of the universe in.

Perhaps no one’s life is perfect, but I can now feel sure that mine has fallen into place, without even thinking about it.
“Correcting” our minds means stilling our minds. Lao Tzu also said, “To a mind that is still the whole universe surrenders.”

The Matrix of the Mind

No matter what you’re struggling with – mastering your mind is the most important thing because without that you’ll get blown by the wind.

The mind affects everything.

Let me explain how you can control your life by understanding this most important concept in life: The Matrix.

If you don’t control your mind, you’ll regress after the first sign of either accomplishment or conflict.

I want to start you off with some mind tools needed so you control what’s happening on the inside to get what you want on the outside. Unfortunately, for most of us, neither our parents nor the public school education system has taught us about how our minds work.

This first mind tool is “The Matrix of the Mind” and how it affects you daily without you even realizing it.

How to control your life by controlling The Matrix

If you understand the Matrix that’s trying to control your life right now you can break out of it and manipulate the game of life to your advantage. Knowing this mind tool can make or break you.

Download audio

Does this mean we’re screwed? Absolutely not!

The bad news is that we can’t fully escape from these things completely. They’re beyond us.

The good news is that you can step back and pay attention to what’s happening in each matrix and manipulate it through your awareness.

In other words you can create new rules, objectives, and beliefs. You can jump in and out of matrices as you see fit and you can even create your own matrix with your own rules.

Here’s your homework

Answer these 3 questions to yourself first.
~What are your beliefs?
~What are your values?
~What are your assumptions about life?

Based on those answers, In the comments below describe the matrix you’re living in? Describe the rules and beliefs of the Matrix you’re living in.

Are these answers really serving your long term vision in life? And can you see how it’s controlling you?

Meditation

Meditation is also one of the most powerful tools you can use to manage your mind, reduce stress and create a sense of well being.

Meditation is like a mini mind vacation from your thoughts. The act of meditating allows one to step outside of our thoughts.

If you’ve ever had a racing mind, a knee jerk reaction, negative thoughts, limiting thinking, or destructive patterns then you can appreciate and embrace the value of being liberated from your thoughts for a time.

As you practice meditating you will begin to be able to manage your thoughts and attention and create the necessary space to manage you thoughts instead of your thoughts managing you. This is expansion in awareness and consciousness. As Buddha said, “What we think, we become”.

There are many forms of meditation but the simplest way to get started is to sit for a few minutes in a quiet space and observe your breath for 6 counts in and 6 counts out.

When I’m going through times that are confusing, overwhelming or super busy I feel drawn to the orange realm and feel a real sense of peace and harmony when I meditate.

Why not liberate yourself from your thoughts for a time and cultivate those happy molecules : )

Mind-Body Detox

Our bodies remember everything: every physical, mental, and emotional moment we have experienced. When those moments are unpleasant or overwhelming, we often fail to process them thoroughly; we gloss over, repress, or disregard and keep on trucking away. This disconnect between the mind, body, and spirit can often manifest as physical pain, chronic stress or illness, fatigue, emotional distress, and even behavioral “bad habits”.Yoga therapy and other mind-body healing practices can release and reintegrate any experiences that may be “stuck” and getting in the way of feeling balanced. With the guide of a trained practioner, you can clear out a lot old subconscious junk and make some space for new possibilities to arise.

Sometimes people get trapped in their mind. they just want to escape. But it feels like we're stuck. So we find ways to escape. Some people hurt themselves. Some hurt others. But it'll be better tomorrow. It'll all be better.

The Repetitive Cycle Of The Human Experience: 9-5

Much is happening at the soul level that our minds are unaware of, but when the soul awakens within the body it inhabits, we begin to create a reality for ourselves that resonates with us at a much deeper level.

Humans have been programmed, which has resulted in the development of certain belief systems. We have been programmed by mass media to the point where a number of individuals have put themselves on “perception lock down.” By perception lock down, I mean that people have adopted the idea that ‘this is how the world is’ or ‘oh well, what can you do?’ We are told what to wear, eat, dress and how to act to the point where our thoughts aren’t even ours. Quantum physics has already shown us that if we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. So, if we look at a 9-5 with the same type of mentality, our experience will never change. Our consciousness is responsible for creating our reality. Our perception of how things are gives way to our thoughts, feelings and emotions which are the paintbrushes we use to paint our lives, both on an individual and collective level. The world is your playground, what really matters is if your heart (not your mind) truly believes this. If you want to manifest a desired existence, you must manifest it from your hearts intention, not your minds intention. Your intuition and heart know more than the mind or words can comprehend, so don’t be afraid to trust it. Trusting your heart in this world can lead to backlash and opposition from many around you. Don’t let fear hold you back from what you really want to do. Just trust yourself, the backlash and opposition is simply a test to see how ‘strong’ you are in your heart, and if you are ready to let go of false concepts, belief systems and fear, you will be amazed at the doors the universe opens up for you.

Viewing the world from one point of view, and closing the mind to another point of view will create a lot of stress, hardship and emotional baggage that can inflict a person for as long as they live. Do you ever ask yourself where did this point of view come from? It’s not hard to see, from birth we are taught what our parents are taught, and often what there parents taught them.

Truth is, you do have a choice, and you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. Yes, the universe will provide you with the necessary experiences you need, until your soul has learned its lesson and moved on. Whatever your present situation, as much as you might not believe it, is the perfect situation for you. Our mind likes to judge our experience, but at a deeper level that is all it is, an experience. Let go of the mind, let go of the judgement and all you have left is the experience. If you view this experience from a place of neutrality, without judgement, maybe new things in your life will manifest and change. Not until you let go and enter into neutrality can your soul evoke new challenges, tests and experiences for itself beyond the ones you previously did not desire. The world can be a magical place, and more of us are learning how to tap into that magic. A new human experience is available to those who have the eyes to see it. Don’t judge your situation, don’t judge your 9-5, accept and embrace it. See it from a neutral standpoint and maybe you will be ready for something new. Much Love.

Tips for Managing Wandering Mind

"Examination is the first step: becoming alert to what passes through your mind. And there is constant traffic -- so many thoughts, so many desires, so many dreams are passing by. You have to be watchful; you have to examine each and everything that passes through the mind. Not a single thought should pass unawares, because that means you were asleep. Become more and more observant." -- An excerpt from Osho’s teachings. He was and is a very wise man. Here are some helpful tips on how to be “the watchful observer” of your very own mind.

1. You are not your mind. You know that, right? The mind is a mere tool, an instrument to the functioning of the entire system of the body. Humans have about 65,000 thoughts a day, 90% of which thoughts of yesterday, repeat today. That’s a lot of clutter and noise to navigate through! Especially if they’re negative thought loops or patterns that just repeat- over and over and over again. You are a human being with thoughts, with the capacity to think, BUT you are not your mind. You are the thinker, but not which is being thunk.

2. Start to notice your patterns. So you’ve become aware of the fact that you’re not your mind—great. Now, check out the inner monologue your mind is having with itself. What are the things you think about most? Are they from the past? Are they worried on the future? What’s the noise in there that is preoccupying you from being fully present in the moment? Start to watch the stories your mind creates and WHY they even get created in the first place. Crack the code to your subconscious and unconscious thought patterns!

3. What are you thinking when you’re in conversation? This is the best way to tell how present you are with the person in front of you. Are you actually taking in what they’re saying—really listening? Or is your mind too busy conjuring up what to say as soon as this person in front of you closes their mouth? Is your mind spacing out and not receiving information that is being given right in front of you? Do you repeat the same story over and over again? Are you mindfully relaying of the language coming out of your mouth when you speak? Is your mind in conscious connection with your throat, tongue and lips? Or is your mouth enslaved to the inner workings of your mind? If your mind your dictating master or your humble servant?

4. Meditation. The ultimate technique on becoming friends with your mind and coaxing it to work with and for you versus against you is via meditation. Your mind can either be your greatest enemy or your greatest companion. It might be scary at first -- acknowledging the noise in your brain. It’s okay. Everyone goes through it. We all have to start somewhere. Find a teacher to show you how to do it properly. Yes you can learn how to do it on your own, DIY, I’m a huge fan and firm believer in creating your own experiences BUT there are some things you might miss out on that someone who has had experience and does it for a living. They might be able to teach you a thing or two. But remember, the #1 Guru is YOU.

5. Read up on it. Check out this link on the brain. It’s fascinating.

6. Honor and Respect. Your mind does so much for you. Take care of it. Wash it, clean in, purge it of all damaging and hurtful thoughts. Feed it nutritious food, water its soil, give your mind sunlight, love, care, attention and care. The more you respect your mind, the more it will serve you to it’s highest degree and potential. Your brain, along with your spine facilitate for the workings of you entire body. Your brain and nervous system communicate with one another so you can do things like read, walk, talk, listen to music, eat food, sleep, wake up, function, etc etc. Treat your mind with honor and respect.

Mel Schwartz - A Shift of Mind

Try to choose your relationships from a grounded place of being selective as opposed to feeling needy. When we NEED to be in a relationship, it will cause us to settle and accept qualities in the other which over time will come back to haunt us. When we do so, we ignore the red flags that we should be paying attention to.

On the other had, if you work on developing your own sense of wholeness, you can be far more selective in choosing your relations, which will serve you far better.Don't complete yourself through the relationship, complete yourself first and then select the appropriate partner.

Play! It’s Not as Serious as You Think

Whether it’s life choices, relationships, friends, work, family, sports, or everyday events, know that it’s just an experience! We can spend our whole lives always caught up in the drama and intensity of each moment only to realize we missed out on the entire journey of it because we were caught up in the mind. We perpetuate our so called “suffering” when we make things serious and make them a big deal, when really we can see it for what it is and allow it to be. This is called finding true peace. I’m not talking about simply accepting things and saying “well get over it” or “that’s how it is so deal with it” No. I’m talking about truly seeing things for what they are. Seeing why we color something in a particular way. Seeing the belief system behind why something is good or bad or right or wrong or even why its serious! I promise you, behind every strong emotion, every serious situation, there is a belief system that makes it that way. One that is held in the mind and made real by the mind. But the mind is not YOU! See the story! Let it go and just play! You will find much peace and joy in flowing through your experience in this way.
