Rome wasn't built in a day.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."
~ Lao Tzu

I have been thinking about this concept lately as I have been embarking on some scary/exciting goals in both my personal and professional life. I think often we get caught up in the grand scope of our dreams and forget that the road to completion offers us the luxury of time. It is much more liberating to work towards a goal one small step at a time rather than focus on the end result and invite stress and overwhelm. So, how 'bout you? What is one of your grandest dreams that you can take one small step towards today? Yeah. Do that.

Monday Kick-Butt Quote

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.” ― Erma Bombeck

So, what are yours, Jesskah? Your dream lives in your head, yes. But, even just telling one person gives your dream power. I invite you today to tell one person about it. Just one!

Joy Junkie Monday Motivation

Egged.
"If egg is broken by outside force, life ends. If broken by inside force, life begins. Great things always begin from the inside."
~Jim Kwik

So... stop searching outside of yourself for all the answers. It's not in the job. The baby. The relationship. The whatever. It starts internally. Allow yourself to still want what you want. But know that your self-worth doesn't have to be defined by what you attain in life. What it's defined by is up to you. How 'bout it's defined by who you ARE. How you show up. Yeah... that feels better.

PROGRESS not PERFECTION

Thursday, March 14, 2013

People continually progress and change their whole lives, if they choose to. Progress is a constant part of human life. That is my intention for the life I lead.
