Thank you, Liberty, for the reminder.

The reason I have so much energy for change is because I choose not to forget the people, places, and struggles I've seen, experienced, and empathized with. Each and every time I hear a story, notice or learn about a reality of injustice and oppression, I am offered perspective on what is truly important. And that is: to be alive and truly living. It is with those people and places that are forgotten that I am found most alive and renewed to make this life more livable for everyone.
